In order to provide certainty to appellants and their legal representatives regarding oral hearings before the International Protection Appeals Tribunal oral hearings scheduled for September 2021 will take place online by way of Audio-Video (A/V) link. Notifications have issued to all parties with details of the arrangements in place in this regard.
A further risk assessment by the Health and Safety Manager of the Department of Justice will take place in September and parties will be notified whether there will be a return or partial return to on-site hearings for hearings scheduled in October 2021 and beyond.
